S3 Trio 32/64 Refresh Rate in Virtual PC

Howdy all! I've gotten an itch to "preserve" an old Win 3.11 installation... using Connectix Virtual PC 4.2. I've installed SB16 drivers for DOS 6.22 + Win 3.11 (only the Win 3.1 side works well though), plus some old S3 Trio 32/64 drivers I tracked down on the 'Net. Everything works just fine, and is actually stable, *however* I'm having a hell of a time trying to get this setup to run at a full-screen refresh rate greater than 60Hz!
How do I do this? Is there a secret tweak for the INI files than I can avail of? Or does anyone know of a *working* generic refresh rate utility for S3 cards that works in Win 3.11? The file S3refresh.exe keeps coming up in my searches, but it only seems useful for DOS, not Win 3.11...
Any and all thoughts appreciated! I'd like to know if my quest is fruitless too...
