Hi.
When trying to re-install win 3.11 on my packard-bell (Pentium 1), the computer says "can't find sector" or "error in executable" on every disk.

The usual way - run a disk repair utility such as Scandisk or NDD for DOS - although there is no guarantee that the errors are repairable, and the damage or data loss may be permanent.
(backup, backup, backup)
It may be that the problem lies with FDD in the machine in question - tried the disks anywhere else??
Tech Support: "I need you to boot the computer."
Customer: THUMP! Pause. "No, that didn't help."
