Okay, another question. How would I reformat the Hd on my old laptop which is 120 MB and currently has DOS 6.22 as the OS. I want to reformat it so that when it is done reformating, i can install DOS again, then install Iomega Ware so that I can install Windows form a ZIP disk. Can someone walk me through this? Thanks!

To format your hard drive, start with your DOS 6.22 boot disk and type in:
FORMAT C:
Awnsewr yes if you are prompted that it will erase all information on the non-removable hard disk. Installation will automatiaclly start. Once it is finished, do not name the disk volume anything. After format is complete, remove your boot disk, and insert disk 1 of 3 for your DOS installation. Now restart your machine. Installation will begin automatically, just follow the on-screen prompts.

The WIN 3.1 disks on a zipped disk could be a problem they are not standard issue there is an easier way,if you had the right start up disks.
I have left you a message at your --ehilgart@charter.net-- E-Mail address read it carefullyDave the snake

Dave, A ZIP Drive/Disk is a removable 100MB (or 250MB if newer modal) harddrive that plugs in via the parallel port with DOS drivers, and has nothing to do with 'ZIP' arcives!
If you need the Iomega ZIP Drivers you can download them from www.iomega.com
