Please help - I really need word 6.0 and the other office applications for windows 3.1. I would appreciate any help, link, or private trade.

Good luck I have put a few posts for this program and they do is send me to abandonkeep.com which does not have it. I need this program also.

The only thing that I could find on the abandonkeep.com is Microsoft Office 4.0. I am note sure if it has Word 6.0, because I didn't yet installed it. Can somebody describe this version? Is it really that good? (it has 21 Mb, and I don't want to spend a lot of time downloading crap). Thank you in advance.

I downloaded it from abandonkeep (office 4) & during the installation it could not find some file which really pissed me off. I guess it came off of a cdrom. I dont know, but it didn't work for me. Maybe it will work for you. Hey but I have a working copy of msworks 3.0 diskette version for Windows 3.1 if you want it. It came with an old packard bell I bought 5yrs ago with Windows 3.1. Abandonkeep I believe has it but I wouldn't trust it. I've gotten one word processing program to work from them & it was msworks2 I believe. It's installed on my 386. You have to custom install it because the tutorial disk is missing. If you let it automatically install the whole program, it will ask for the tuturial disk which isn't included in the download & stop installation. Custom installing allowed me to uncheck the tutorial box so it would not ask for that specific disk. Other than not having that it works fine.

hey, all - good news. I think I found it. Try searching at http://www.filesearch.ru for "word6". it will give you a lot results with this file. Attention, interface is in russian but it is quite user friendly. Good luck.

i have ms office for windows that has word 6.0 excell access...the whole shebang. it's 24 disks, though? I could burn the files on a cd rom for you and mail it to you...you could find a pute
