On a Winbook XP notebook, 486, Windows for Workgroups 3.11, MSDOS v 6.22, delete protection set as standard. I am selling this notebook and wish to purge all the deleted files., How do I do this?

Format /u is supposed to do this, but to be on the safe side you could download WIPE.exe from the IBM.COM website and wipe the drive. Then re FDISK and FORMAT.
