Hi
I wanted to ask what kind of softwares could I use to develop programs for Windows 3.1. I use MS Visual C++ and Visual Basic 6.0 for 32 bits systems. Is there anything like that for win 3.1? Any free C compiler or something like that?
Thanks in advance
Rogue

Hmmm interesting this free C++ version, I am going to download it soon...

What Java ADK is that? Is it from IBM Alphaworks? If not please more details!

One more question:
Isn't it possible for newer versions than Delphi 1.0 and Visual Basic 3/4 to make programs that run with Windows 3.1x or Win32s.
Is there is an option for that in these programs? Arent they downward compatible?

ADKbeta3 is a Java 1.0.2 for Win32s. It has
some minor bugs but it works.

I have written ADKtools to integrate this
Java-VM better to DOS. With ADKtools you
can start Java-Classes direct from a DOS-
Box like in Win9x and build Java-Classes
like in Unix with a Makefile. If you like
a copy of it, eMail me!

There are some more Programming-
Environments for Win32s:

Tcl/Tk 8.0p2
Python 1.52 with Tk
DJGPP (gcc) with RSXNTDJ (ask me!)
Perl (DOS only)

I've read somthing from xbasic, which
should run under Win32s, but I havn't
testet it yet. There is also a FORTH-
Environment for Win32s.
