i am using windows 3.11 for workgroup, recently i tried to change the display, now when the system is booting up, the screen starts to flicker and the system hangs. Pease help me.........

Can't you just change the driver back in MS-DOS running SETUP.exe inside the Windows directory?

In other words, from the
c:\windows
prompt in DOS, type
setup
Highlite the display line and change it back to VGA
Press the enter key twice
Skip

first of all let me tell that i've solved my problem.
did the same thing as you said but the problem was first you must get to dos...for that i didnt have a floppy drive.....for this i took my brothers advice and loaded the autoexec.bat one by one and dissabled windows....and the rest like you guyz said .....thanks anyway guys....

"first you must get to dos"
Amazingly, for Win311 to work, DOS must already be running, so your 'solution' was improbably and unnecessarily roundabout
In reality, all you'd needed to do would've been to exit Windows (yet another reason not to have 'win' in autoexec.bat)
I'm not one of those who think Bill Gates is the devil. I simply suspect that if Microsoft ever met up with the devil, it wouldn't need an interpreter.
