Hi,When I try to install IE5.0 I get the message :
"Microsoft Internet Tools for Win 3.1/NT 3.51 requires a configuration larger than 4 megabytes for reasonable performance.
On smaller machines, please continue to use previous version of Internet Explorer."Installer doesn't let me finish the process although I have more than 4 MB of anything in my machine.
What can I do ?
Thanks for any help.

Version of MSDOS and what version of Windows 3.11 WfW or plain non WfW?
Have you tried an alternative download site:
http://os2.tucows.comsoftweb_default.htmlLastly this is not by any chance some exotic version ran in a Virtual/Emulation environment, as you imply you have lots of ???

Some information here:
"On system with more than 40 MB of RAM the setup program says that it needs "at least 4 MB of RAM", which of course is nonsense. With IE5's setup program the problem has been solved in the way that it can be started with the parameter /f:16"

Thank you guys.I installed the thing at last. Unfortunately it disappointed me, I thought being more recent than IE3.02 it would be more efficient but it seems to be buggier, mainly in a smaller window it has problems to accommodate the images, my scroll mouse doesn't work in it and the javascript compatibility seems to be weak followed of fatal errors. In fact it screws up my computer's video if I come to this forum. I'm writing this from Opera 3.62.
Thank you again.
