I have been looking for hours to get drivers for a compaq lte 5000's to run on Ms-Dos and win 3.1, if it is possible to get one i need a link bad.

First you need Cardware 7 "Card and Socket Services Software" http://www.tssc.de to enable the PCMCIA Controller Chip.

...though IBM PC-DOS 7 does included a basic version of "Card and Socket Services Software" which supports most 16bit PCMCIA Cards, 32bit Cardbus Cards are generally not supported.
