Hey there...A PCMCIA slot looks like s rectangle shapes slits in the side of the laptop...They can be used for a modem, sound card, networks card and a butt load of other things...If you have any issues getting them working in 3.1..wich I am sure you will becuase I know that I had a pain :o) I will help you and ne one else needing PCMCIA support by giving you the card and socket services software that I have..Lightspeed or ne one else with a web page that is willing to let me send you these files to be posted on your web site I will greatly appreciate it as I cant upload them to everyone lol..So let me know if I can be of assistance..My AIM name by the way is Mustangguy9917 Laters :o) PressAnyKey
