I have a 486 dx50mhz pc.
On yhe motherboard i can see some black ISa slots, with sound card (OPTI MAD16) , Video card (AcumosAVGA2) and other adapters.
I have a REALTEk RTL8139 PCI Lan card family that are previously in a PCI slot
i have removed the lan card from the pci slot (in another computer) and i wants to put it on my 486
can i put this PCI network card in a ISA slot?.
Thanx in advance
Davide

NO totally different, go to a boot fair/thrift shop and pay no more than a few quid, look for any good make DLink, 3COM, SMC or states on card NE2000 compatible, drivers available.

If you live in UK have an ISA DLink DE220PCT (non-ROM boot) with both RJ45 and BNC connector, if interested please email me!

Check eBay if you're in the States. The 3Coms are decent for old ISA cards. There's a 486 on my home net using an Etherlink III (3C509). And the drivers are still available on their website.
