Does anyone know of software to parallel network Win3.1 with another Win3.1 machine? Sorry, if this is not detailed enough I will give more information if needed.

Thanks in advance!

Umm... that is not quite what I had in mind. I need one that lets me actualy play parallel networked games over the cable.

What you have given me is pretty much just another file sharing network.

No offence, but that is not exactly what I wanted...

By "Parallel Networking", I assume you are referring to connecting 2 PCs via the parallel port. You can use a packet driver, and in this case, the PLIP packet driver. Good luck.

How exactly will that work? I have heard that PLIP can be pretty slow. Does it allow actual networked gamming?

I certainly wouldn't be using this as a solution for networked gaming. What do you expect out of the parallel port? Get a network card if you want speed.

It is not about the speed. It is rather or not I can play my old network games.

if the games specifically have a network play option then you will need a proper network card to play.
