No valid device driver

I have installed dos622 and win31 on an old 486 and need access to the cd-rom, at start up I get a message telling me : Device driver not found MSCD001 No valid cd-rom device driver selected.. Any help would be appreciated. Mary

What is the brand of your CD-rom?
It sounds like you have a bad driver disk.
