I would like to upgrade my browser, as I'm getting site certificate expiration warnings, etc. I am using a 486-66mhz, 16 meg ram, with WFW3.11, 33kb modem. I have downloaded the 4.08 file from Netscape. But, if I delete the 3.0 browser I lose my dialer too. Netscape 4.08 starts up just fine but can't dial out. ALso can I back up my bookmark file from 3.0 and have it work with 4.08?? Tnx much.

You can get a free dialer from the net however you probably have to reconfigure the primary and secondary DNS etc...
I wouldnt recommend running netscape 4 in 3.11 with a 486, for one thing its just not going to be fast enough, second of all 4.x does support java script etc.... and one java applet can literally suck the life out of your 486....
