Could someone please tell me where I can get a complete, working rip of the tcpip dialer that comes with IE 5 (Win 3.1)? I do not want to have to intstall IE 5 just to get it. I did a search on the internet before and came up with one claimed "dialer only from ie 4," but it was missing files and didn't work. Please help. Thanks.

I like Trumpet Winsock (2.0b) more. Its more configurable and takes up less resources (so its faster).....

As far as I know, you can't get the IE5 dialer without installing IE5. However, the IE3.03 installer will let you install the dialer by itself. You can get that at the Windows 3.1x section of my website. (under 16-bit Internet Tools)

Summary: I have used Win3.11 on my old computers for years but always was supplied with a dialer which included a winsock tspmanager as part of the hook up package. Here in AK my ISP doesn't seem to have had ...
