I have never worked with 3.1 , so i need some help installing a mouse. I have the mouse plugged in but i dont know how to navigate using just the keyboard . what are the steps i need to do in order to get the mouse installed to be able to use it. I have the installition disk for the mouse that contains drivers and such . but i need help getting there. thanks
press in the program manager F10 then you can select 'Window' choose the Main-group and run Windows Setup press again F10 and choose 'Change system settings' (or something like that). Press the TAB-key to go Mouse.

Another easier way to accomplish this is to run the setup.exe program from within the windows directory. Do this from DOS...
I.E.
c:\ cd windows setup
This will allow to choose the type of mouse you want with the arrow keys..
