Reply: (edit)mahddy, dos should have created one for you, when it w2as loaded - unless someone deleted it. here's a basic config.sys file: device=c:\windows\himem.sys device=c:\windows\emm386.exe noems dos=high, umb buffers=10,0 files=50 save this as "config.sys" in your "c:\" directory. also make sure your autoexec.bat file has this line: LH c:\windows\smartdrv.exe then reboot computer. james

Reply: (edit)James does not say it. You write a Config.Sys File with a normal text editor such as Edit.exe supplied with MS-DOS, Write each line of text as shown, press enter to start new line, ect. Save file as C:\Config.Sys and it will be picked up on next system boot. Same thing goes for Autoexec.Bat files!
