Need 3.1 disks

I formated my drive on a 486 I've been working on, so I could install windows 95 come to find out it was the upgrade that I had, so I installed dos 6.22, and now I need widows3.1 for the up grad please help. I been putting to may hours into the machine, And just want to finish it up. Thank you

The Win 9x upgrade versions search for the win.com file of the older version. If you are able to find a copy, create a C:\windows directory and copy the file to it, then run the upgrade, it will work. Email me if you need this file.

I installed Windows 3.1 on an old 486 but it won't startup without the startup diskette that I do not have. I tried to use my Windows 98 startup diskette and that did not work. Does anyone have the 3.1 diskette and how could I get this? Thank you very much for any help you can provide.
