Right, time for a new post, maybe?
For those who don't already know, I have a 486 dx33 with 16mb RAM and win 3.1
I also have a 56k modem. My second serial port doesn't work, so I have to share the port with the mouse.
So...When I am on the internet I don't have a mouse.I have tried IE3 and Opera (which was excellent, really fast) but these don't seem to let me navigate fully through the web pages with the tab button. I can tab through all the links in IE4, but this is painfully slow.
I was wondering if anyone can suggest an alternative. I noticed that Arachne had a mouse-like pointer which you could control with the cursor keys - is there software which will do this in all applications? Does anyone know of another way of scrolling through links (apart from tab)?
Thanks in advance
Dave

Hi Dave

Don't give up on Opera -- check the kybd shortcuts again (Ctrl+B) and you'll see it's Q and A for going thru links (Tab is for entry boxes in forms). You already know Arachne, which people like to use for information-rich pages (i.e. without the dreaded JavaScript) in humid conditions where a mouse gets slippery.
The Mousekeys function from the Access-Pack distributed by M$ allows the numeric keypad to be used for controlling the mouse. About 220kB from Powerload
