have you tried plugging in directly, to bypass the router and see if the

problem still is..if then it works fine you might want to replace the router.

.I had one that would only work half the time, it would only work for one to

five days and i had to reset it (or unplug and replug in the cable) over and

over again....replacing the router solved my problem.

Try a different one for a week or so, and if theres no more problem,, then

you know where lies the problem. Some cable isp's seem to be sensitive to

certain routers.

NOT true.

All ISP's are teh same.

As long as your cable modem can give an WAN IP address, your router can recive.

I advise you actually see if your router is setup for WAN DHCP dominicous. If it only works with 1, try makeing the LAN DHCP Server allow more than 1 client. :-p

PS: make up your own for your PC then add your router's IP as the DNS and gateway.

I stand by my assertion that it's likely a hardware

problem...in my case it certainly was..no it wasn't

the settings, as only my line (out of six) was

affected...and replacing the hub solved the problem

It's a known fact that thers some ISP's with

problems with certain hubs and/or routers-

particularly in europe...there are in fact several

references to this earlier in this forum (well,

much earlier, about a year ago)
