Moving Windows 3.1 Files to Windows 95 System

Hi. Does anyone know how to compress files in a Windows 3.1 system for transport to a Windows 95 system? I'm trying to extract files from my supervisor's old Windows 3.1 computer and transfer it to his new Windows 95 computer. We don't have any cables or even access to the Internet from his old computer. My problem is some of the files are too large for the disk to hold. (We don't have zip drives either.) I remember Windows 3.1 had some kind of a program that made compressed files on a disk so files could be transferred between computers. But I forgot the name of it and the icons are all mixed up in his program manager so I can't find it that way either. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Goto www.winzip.com and download Winzip 6.3 SR1 for Windows 3.1 and Winzip 8.0 for Windows 95/98 Install onto relevant machine. Now compress files into Zip Format onto floppy disk(s) for transfer (Use Span Multiple Floppy Disks if needed)

If the files are big you can download a program like fastlink and transfer them that way.
