I need a driver for Packard Bell monitor model 1401s.Using win 3.1 in a Compaq Vesario 633.I am pretty sure it is a SVGA monitor. It had Compaq 3.1 os but I had to reload the os with win 3.1.When I did this I lost resolution in my pictures they are very grainy. If someone knows the solution to my problem I would appreciate the help. I know it is a old system but I am playing with it.I have found some good uses for it. Thanks A Bunch TVM

Monitor drivers are not required for DOS or Win 3.x. Any drivers you find for your monitor will be for Windows 95 or higher and won't have any effect in Win 3.x.

Windows has generic video display drivers that you can set by running setup.exe (in the windows directory.) SVGA might be adequate for your video card, but accessing the full capability of you card might require a driver from the manufacturer.
