you should not need a driver for a monitor it should just work
If its the video driver you need try the generic VGA driver and if that dosnt work try CGA
((I think both drivers come with windows setup))

In the video section of windows setup (for win31,'setup" in the windows directory, then 'change system settings' for video options), there is a 'vga 640x480 16 grays' which is the closest to monochrome you're gonna get with VGA in w31..CGA might do it, but i dont think theres a VGA setting for black and white (monochrome).. This driver is actually in the WfW311 video options, but i expect it's in the win31 video settings too...

Hi, I am new with computers. I baught a monitor for $2. After plugging it in to my computer, I find the monitor just stayed blank. I have recently upgraded to 5MB RAM and the computer seems to run slow. Why is this?
This is the spec of my computer:
33Mhz Processor Windows 3.1 5MB RAM 10MB Hard Drive
