I keep on getting a :Missing operating system message whenever I boot. I have windows 3.1 and need a boot disk for windows 3.1. I know it was not deleted, but I have no way of checking since I have no operating system to check with. If anyone knows where I can download a boot disk for windows 3.1 or has any information that can help, please let me know. Thanks

You can get a bootdisk at Bootdisk.com for your version of Dos. Use fdisk on it to verify that your partition information is valid and that first partition is set to active. Also check CMOS setup to verify that your hard drive parameters are correct.
