Lost the D: Drive in windows 3.1

Hello. Last week I my little brother was deleting some files on his windows 3.1 computer and some how the D: Drive got deleted. When I got home from school that day he told me about this. I need to know if there is any way to get the D: Drive back in Windows 3.1 if you need more info please reply back to this posting or send me an email. thanks

You need to install the dos cd-rom driver, there is one on my site

that was my thought too..i think he meant d: being a harddrive 'cuz if he deleted a cdrom drive i'm sure he woulda said...as far as i know it's not possible to delete (unmount) a drive entirely from within windows 3.1,so without knowing more i don't think there's much i can help with...Manender, does your cdrom still work- that is, can you put one in and open it in filmanager?

You can't open a cd from the file manager it says d drive does not exist. The d: drive was the cd drive to answer woofs question.
