Hello folks, I've been reading for the last 4 hours on how win3.11 supports Long File Names but haven't yet found how it could be done as far as what to edit in either the Autoexec.bat or Config.sys file to enable the feature.. I've downloaded a bunch of files from plenty of sights but all the readme texts just explain what the files do, not how to go about using them.. I've downloaded different versions of doslfn.com + downloaded lfnxlat.386 + CP437UNI.TBL + L.exe but need some advice if someone knows how.. Thanks. & this Win3.11 is installed on MS-Dos 7.0 not 7.1 ,, A genuine beta of 7.0 The reason it's on 7.0 is i'm also going to install an early beta of win95 on top & hopefully retain the LFN support as the beta of 95 doesn't yet support it. The beta is an upgrade only. Thanks.

Why not use original software W95/W95A OEM CD are virtually worthless, whereas W95B/W95C OEM CD should be only a few dollars. Both versions of W95 mentioned can be used as a basis for W3.xx
