Here's the situation. Had to reinstall windows 3.1 on laptop but didn't have the laptop windows. Used another version but now I can't find the file to be able to change between an lcd monitor and an outside monitor so that we can work at it at home.

Most laptops I've seen have a BIOS setting that enables the LCD panel, the external monitor port, or both.

Jason,

What make of Laptop have you.

Most laptops use normal Windows with a extra supplemental disks for portables for things such as external monitor, PCMCIA Support ect

Most Makers have Web Support Pages for extras. I downloaded all I needed for my Compaq Contura with no problems.
