Laptop display (revert driver)

When i tried to alter the display drive i get the error message "this windows 3.1 super vga display driver does not support your video adapter, please contact the video adapters manufactuere for the correct driver, in the mean time use windows setup to select a different display type such as VGA"
after hitting a key the dos promt is displayed. All i want to do is revert back to the original dirver, how do i do this as i cant access windows 3.11?

Its ok, i sorted it (yes i know it didn't take me that long but i paniked lol:) ) Scanning through old posts i found the answer, i'll post it below in case anyone else has the same problem...
From the DOS prompt simply type: CD Windows [press enter] setup [press enter] In the dialogue box, select "Display" and change it to "VGA" and click OK. That will restore the default VGA driver Windows uses for the intitial install.
