I finally got my 560Z working!! I got PC DOS 2000 and Win 3.1 on it right now. I want to install Windows 2000 Professional on the remaining space. I got LapLink 6.0, and a cable with two male DB25 connectors on it. I am trying to connect a Pentium 90 IBM desktop running Windows ME Micro, to the Win 3.1 Thinkpad. However, both machines simply refuse to acknowledge the other's existance.
I have tried installing both LL 6 for Windows 3.1 and LL 7.5 for Windows 95 on the P90 (they are on the same diskettes).
6.0 won't see the 6.0 laptop, and 7.5 crashes the computer when run.
