If you want a SMALL and FAST browser that is very reliable, get this new release of ie3.
It features a new, much more sturdy html library, new, more reliable and faster JAVA VM, and the Y2K bug in the email program was corrected. It is much better than the alpha version, easy to install, and virtually crash free! Big thumbs up! This may very well be the best browser available for win 3.x users.

Lightspeed is wrong on one small point, Internet Explorer 3.03 SP1 is a Service Release not a BETA Release. and it has been available since late 1999.

Ther are in fact newer versions of Internet Explorer in 16bit versions. Full URls listed below. Each version needs differant minimum install, so please check. He is right in saying that 3.03 SP1 is the most compact, and is also the only version that will work on a 386.

IE 3.03 is only good for one reason-The
Shiva Dialer. Otherwise, it's a piece of
garbage. Use Opera.
