I'm trying to get an old laptop working on the internet. Currently uses 3.1 as its OS with no CD-Rom on the machine. Does anyone know of any ISP's that can be loaded from 3.5" disks?
(I am based in the UK).

Thanks,
Degs

Degs, 3.1 was never an OS - you're running DOS.
I'm guessing you mean browser when you say ISP (internet service provider)
Try the 16 bit version of Opera at:

http://www.opera.com

among others.

Why don't you download internet explorer 5.5 for Windows for workgroups, i'm not sure, I think it comes with a dialer, and use the isp you normally use, just get the username, password and telephone number
