Netscape Communicator versions 4.04 through 4.08 include AOL Instant Messenger. Bear in mind that AIM 1.6 is rather limited in capabilities, so you can't join chat rooms with multiple people.

To get around that, use the online Java version of AIM. Last time I checked, you could use it with IE 3.03 or Netscape 4.08. It's stripped down in features as well, but you can at least join chat sessions with it.

What about a jabber client for Windows 3.x? I am trying to find one so that I can access Google Talk.
