Please write me how i can install internet on win 3.1.I have a modem 33 k davicom and she work good in terminal. I install IE 4.1 and i can't add connection. If IE 4.1 is not good for internet on 3.1 please write me other Internet Explorer . Please write me step by step install internet and dialup networking.

If IE 401 does not recognise your modem, try "Standard 28800" modem. YYou can also try to get the 2000 Resource CD free of charge from Microsoft. On the CD I recall there was a copy of IE5 for 16 bit systems, which is lot more stable than IE 401. Aside from that, most web sites do not work with less than Netscape 4.5 or IE 5.01. Particularly if they include Java and Flash. The email client supplied with IE 401 has a bug in it: it doesn't work. RCA

Many browsers work in win 3.1. My site has a lots of them, check it out. My prefered one is ie3 sp1 (i'm using it right now!) cause it's fast, and it works with almost any sites. Only very few java functions are not supported. Ie5 and Netscape 4.08 are also very good. I don't recommend ie4 personnaly, but it work for some people and is also on my site. Make sure you download a version that includes the stack and dialer.(full install)
