Hi Susan Gee:
You posted below that you wanted to upgrade to Win 95, well you need to remove everything from your hard drive before installing Win 95 (That's why you need to make a Win 95 boot disk, or get a copy of a 98 boot disk from a friend). To find out if you have to windows directories there are two way to do so. one to find to File Manager Icon, or go to File, then Run, type c:/windows/winfile.exe to open. Then you should be able to see all non hidden file & directories if you set View correctly. Another way to view files, is through c:/>dossshell in DOS (not DOS in Windows). If you follow my instructions below about backup, then type c:>format c:, this will remove everything, then use the install boot disk (it has the drivers & instructions needed to find & run CD-ROM) to run Win 95 install CD disk. First read "Starting Over" & Ccreating a Real" boot disk at this web site, it should help.

Hope this helps, good luck.
