Reply: (edit)This has come up so many times. There is no Windows 3.1 Boot Disk.. You need a MS-DOS Boot Disk of the same version as your original. OR at the worst a full set of MS-DOS 6.22 & Windows 3.1 to start again. Try www.bootdisk.com

Reply: (edit)There is no Win 3.1 bootdisk. Win 3.1 rides on top of DOS, silly! If you've lost your copies of DOS and Win 3.1, try using FreeDOS (www.freedos.org). It's downloadable, MS-DOS compatible, and it's free! You can also use the Seal GUI for DOS (http://www.home.sk/public/seal/) also free and downloadable. You can also find many software programs (free!) for download on the Net. Good luck.

Reply: (edit)My puter has crashed and I can't even get a dos prompt. I know there isn't a 3.1 boot disk, I've downloaded some boot disk from the net and I keep getting a NON-System disk or disk error, can anyone help me get my puter back up and running?
