use F-PROT for DOS-the latest virus definitions are also up there. There is a Windows version or F-PROT that will scan programs with Macros-Word, Excel etc. But the F-PROT just works in DOS.

I would go to Mcafee.com and Download Viruscan for Win 3.X, they discontinued the Win 9X version but the version for Win 3.X is still up there...
