Windows 98... I have totally lost wordpad.. I'm getting ERROR RUNDLL 3DFXVBPS.DLL, no wordpad.exe either... and MFC42u.dll is messed up also... Can I just load wordpad from scratch? Where? How? HELP!!!!

1) This is Windows 3.1 group 2) Reinstall it is your safest bet. Don't screw with the dll's.

Yes this is the Windows 3.1 Forum
Goto Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs then check Wordpad and it will reinstall.
Or try CetusWordPad at http://cetussoft.com A Freeware WordPad enhansment with SpellChecker! (US Default - UK & others available)

ilost word pad cant install my printer or scanner because it comes on the screen you dont have word pad and this is needed to install programs I have gone in and clicked on it many times still no luck
