i don't think my motherboard is seeing my disk drives because i am trying to load XP por but it just sayes "boot failer insert sys disk and press enter"how do i check if the disk drives are working?

Is there is floppy disk inserted in the drive?
If so, remove the disk from drive and try again.

Often times here, when I see that sort of error message, it means the power supply is not putting out enough strength to turn everyone over adequately. Try unplugging a few drives and see if that enables you to go further.
