Hi evryone. I puted the hand on a P1 to play old computer games.I first formated it, then when it was still open, I installed windows 3.11 ,I got it from internet, and it did'nt worked. So I rebooted and the computer and it was stuck on the message Verifying DMI pool data, but that's not the problem. I can't run a boot disk... Would anyone know how I could fix this (on BIOS I think)? Also if I make it work I will install windows 3.1 from my old floppy disks.

Thanks a lot
Justin

hi "I can't run a boot disk..." when you boot from it what happens? you may need to go into bios and change the boot order to a: floppy first boot device.

Here's some specification on my problem, when I boot the system with a floppy disk in, it simply stay stuck on the message Veryfing DMI pool data (and when I dont have a floppy disk in it says that too). In BIOS the booting order is a,c,SCI (something like SCI). I checked all the bios options and I can't find a way to arrange my problem. Also I can't install dos 6.22 if I can't run a boot disk...

Thanks
Justin

If you have a CD drive, then you can install MS-DOS 7.10 via the MS-DOS 7.10 Installation CD ISO image.

Yes but the problem is that if i want to install anything I need to make my system run a boot floppy disk because my hd have been formated, so when I open my computer it's stuck on the message Verifying DMI pool data.

HI go here and read http://www.qdi.nl/support/dmipool.htm
my guess is you do not have a good boot floppy and its booting to the hdd which is mess up. go to www.bootdisk.com and see if they have a win 3.1 boot program. if so download it comp you are now useing and than run the program to make a boot floppy.
