After loading windows opens up then disappears after less then a second and all you can see is the mouse pointer and a blue screen.. When the computer is loading it says external cache not installed. I dont know what that is or if it even has anything to do with it. If you could help me out here that would be great! Thanks

WFW 3.1

64 MB RAM
12' TFT (Active Matrix) Display
OS - Windows 98

thanks,
Scott

W3START or something like that. They'll run off of the same partition, so here's how it goes:

Install Windows 98
Go to DOS mode once Win98 is set up
Install Windows 3.1 in C:\WIN31 (DO NOT INSTALL IN C:\WINDOWS!)
Install W3START
Use W3START to run C:\WIN31\WIN.COM
