Mt printer, fax, scanner, copier combination is leaving a black line down the middle of everything that comes out of it. Do you know what is wrong and how to fix it or where it can be fixed?
Remove your printer cartridge and clean it. Chances are that the ink jet has got lint or something on it. After physically cleaning it, put it in and have the software perform it's cleaning and alignment operations.

Also, if its a laser printer, check the lens, there might be junk on it.

It's not the lens. A spot of dirt on the lens would block the laser causing not printing in that area, not the other way around.
Replace your toner cartridge, the wiper for the photosensitive drum has become damaged.
