Hi

I just installed win3.1. The total are 7 disks. But when I use 6 disks the Win 3.1 is installed and working well.

The last (No:7) disk was not used. Why? Also in my win 3.1 the "writer" programm is missing and no main icon. I guess the "writer" programm for typing is in the No: 7 disk, but I am not sure.

The question is how do I install the files in No:7 disk in Win 3.1? and is it "write" programm in disk 7?

Thank you

Two answers here. Disk 7 is the Windows Drivers Disk and unless you select a default printer driver for say a HP 500 Deskjet you may never need to use it. Windows Write is an 'Option' you need to run Windows Setup Program from within Windows (You should have a Icon) and select Write and any other application you want to Add or Remove from the menu given. Hope this is what you need to know.
