Your best bet, is to go to the laptop company home page, and try to retrieve drivers there. After that, you could try 1 of the 2 shareware program links on Lightspeeds site.

http://lightspeedref.web1000.com/main.html#Uninstallers/System

You could also see if you can find an FCC id on the hardware, track the company website for drivers there, if the hardware is discernable.

Good luck.

Windows 3.1 has, I believe, something called Microsoft Diagnostics, or "msd", which you can run from Windows or from DOS. It should give you an idea of what hardware is in your system. Good luck.

Sorry, but I know not of any other hardware indicator for WFW. You mention that this is a laptop. Why do you want to know the specific hardware inside of it? I have a 486 notebook that formerly ran WFW 3.11 (runs DOS and Linux now), but I didn't find myself needing the particulars of its insides. Are you just curious? Or, are you considering running Windows 95 on it? With only 4 Meg of RAM, I would recommend against that. Good luck.
