Can someone help me ? I have windows 98 second edition running on my computer. this is my problem. After having a new cd rom drive replaced in my computer the guy said I needed a new video card also , so he replaced my 3D Blaster Banshee with an Ati rage and nothing on my computer worked right . He wouldnt stand behind his work or try to help me fix the problem, So a freind stripped my computer and reinstalled everything . the only problem I have now is when I first boot my computer as it is opening up I get a little box that says "The Creative Ensoniq Audio PCI driver cannot load Midi waveset . MIDI waveset has been disabled ." Can someone tell me how to enable it , or if I even need to have it enabled?Thank you for your time and help in advance.

Might I suggest posting in the WIN98 forum. But for what it's worth, as far as Creative audio card drivers, my experiance is limited to Sound Blaster Live cards. I had a similar problem when I got a new MB and reformated and reinstalled everything, I had to install my sound drivers first then everything else. And a few years ago, I purchased an ASUS V3400 TNT video card. My sound and video drivers didn't like each other at all. I never did get all the bugs worked out of it. Anyway, didn't mean to ramble on for so long, you may want to try installing the sound card drivers first before anything else including your video drivers.

Go and find the Ensoniq 4Mb or (even better) 8Mb wavetable set and install it. This is not the right forum. Try the driverforums.....

Summary: The Machine and software are a catalog display system for autoparts. I worked at a dealership and used it every day..... Being 25 Mhz makes it run slow. I do not want to molest the complete HP system....
