please help me i need win 95 on my labtop and right now its got win 3.11 and only an A:\ how do i do it?

if you only have an a:\ how do you have win 3.11 running?
you must have a c:\
what is the speed of the computer, and how much memory
you need a minimum of a 386DX (not an SX) chip
with 4mb ram.
and at least say a 100 to 200 mb harddrive.
a little more info would help us help you.

i think when he says that he only has an a:\
Bri means he doesnt have a d:\ (CD-ROM Drive)...if that is the case then u should b able 2 find a link for win95 floppy disk version on the main directory of this forum if u scroll down the page...
if u already have win95 on cd then go

WHY IN THE HECK WOULD YOU WANT TO DO THAT!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Windows 3.1 is much better than win 95. Plus then you can't use the features of DOS 6.22. Anyway to answer your question, I agree with Novice1.

i think its his own opinion your acting a little psycho now.....
well i have a 486 with 4 ram and 33mhz running windows 95a and i am satisfied the no$gmb emulator before wouldn't work in dos cuz of ram the extended memory int iwndows allowed me to play more roms on it, also with the internet is easier to setup and i am more familier with programs that need it, like Desktop toys and most of my other games, they are designed for windows 9.x i have another 286 laptop running windows 3.11 with 17mhz and 2 ram 25 meg hardrive i am happy using calimera with it Word and Excel the internet is good too just hard to browse witha slow pc with that. one thing i admire about win 3.11 is the fast loading
