I install woodworking equipment and am currently installing a used machine which runs windows 3.1 and DOS 6.2, I do not have much experience with either most of the time I put in the disc's and the software installs and I can then configure the machine. I am not sure whether it is the files on the floppy (which the manufacturer has re-written and emailed to me several times) or something that I am just missing, something that is right in front of me taunting me? When I try to expand the file off of A: and copy it over to C: it does not come over as a file but as a icon of a piece of paper with a corner folded. Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong or if it is indeed the files that Italy is sending me? Any help would be so great.

From your description it's pretty difficult to comprehend what the actual issue is. What are your expectations? No idea what the file is intended for, or just what process is involved here. Call Italy maybe? Braccae tuae aperiuntur

>in file manager, the files look like papers with fold, programs are grey square with bar at top, look for one of those in the woodworking folder with the extension *.exe, if none- theres no program only files, try also copying files to drive in new folder and expand from there using expand.exe, try also asking friend/neighbour for help.:)

What is the name of the files please?
