check it out 3.1 users!!!! i don't know if you guys have heard of this but i just found it while searching for some setup programs for my 486... anyways its like a system restore for 3.1, it saves the current files and configuration etc. and lets you restore that configuration if some thing goes wrong..... it shoudl be avaivlible to download here: http://support.radioshack.com/support_computer/doc3/3544.htm

Try not to get *too* excited - that sounds like a proprietary utility for AST (and not likely available).
Norton & PCTools for Windows, Nuts & Bolts (among others I'm sure) could all perform critical configuration backups for Win3xx.

Why would a Windows 3.1x have a problem if it crashes? Noones dumb enough to mess up an installation nor does anyone have time to write a virus to kill Windows 3.1x becuase noone uses it....you gotta thoink things through before you post these things.
