My friend says he got a GPF in Progman.exe
when he moved the mouse to "wake up" his system when the screensaver was on. Now, every time he restarts Windows, he gets the same GPF, and the system freezes. Sorry I don't have all the details, I haven't seen it yet myself.

I have to travel 100km to try and fix it tomorrow, all I want is some hints/tips/ideas of things to try. Is it possible that it's a
hard disk failure?
Thanks,
Paul

Well, I guess General Failure has done it again...
Whats the exact details of that failure? did it just happened after you installed the screen saver and moved the mouse? Did you run something in the back ground?
You could try do a scandisk and check for errors.
Try load windows with /b or /c I forget which probably the former one to get in without 386enhanced things...
