Generic Front End

Does anyone know of a GUI type front end that can launch an application and also give the application commands while it is running? Basically I would like to control and command a keyboard application with icons. Thanks, Old Folks

Blackbox For Windows is a pretty decent GUI for Windows 9x, NT, 2k, XP, and 2k3. is a decent shell replacement for Windows 3.1x, as is Workplace Shell For Windows.
