i have a 486 with a modem and i want it to be able to connect to the internet but i have not been able to find a free isp. 1nol, worldshare, and juno do not work or you have to pay for them i have already looked at them. if anyone can help me PLEASE email me any suggestions you have. they will be greatly appreciated.

If you want internet access bad enough then PAY for it. It gets cheaper & cheaper by the minute. And any ISP will work with Win3.1. Just cant use there internet setup cd because the majority of them only support '95 & up. All you have to do is download a browser with dial up & configure it properly. Just need to know your ISP dial up number, news server, primary & secondary dns numbers, ftp server & mail server. Enter it into your dial up config & your up & running.
